Terms of Service
The agreement, in plain English.
Last updated 2026-10-03.
Who we are
Answered Work is run by Answered Work LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”). These terms cover answered.work, the intake form, the client portals, our calls and texts, and the work we do for clients. Where a signed order form or agreement with us says something different, that signed document wins.
The service
We build AI into the tools your business already uses, then keep it running. Projects are quoted up front. Ongoing work is billed monthly. Scope, price and billing are set in your written quote or order form.
A person on our side approves every change before it goes live. What we build for you lives in your accounts and belongs to you once it’s paid for. We keep our general know-how, tools and templates and may reuse them, never with your data in them.
We don’t promise specific results (revenue, leads, time saved). We promise to do the agreed work with care and to fix what we got wrong.
AI in the service
Parts of the service use AI, including the assistant in your portal. AI answers are labeled as AI and can be wrong. Check anything important before you rely on it. Nothing we or our AI tools say is legal, tax, financial or medical advice.
You can also connect your own AI assistant, or a script with an API key, to your portal. Requests, messages and answers it sends there count as coming from you. What it reads goes to the company that runs it, under your own terms with them (see our Privacy Policy). You can disconnect it from your portal at any time.
Your part
Give us accurate information and the account access the work needs. Keep your portal sign-in to yourself and tell us right away if you think someone else got in.
You must have the right to share any data you give us, including your customers’ data, and to let us use it for your work. That includes any notices or consents the law requires from them.
Calls and texts from us
If you tick a box on our form, Answered Work LLC may call and text the mobile number you gave us. The first box covers messages about your inquiry and account: replies, scheduling, updates and support. The second box, if you tick it too, covers marketing messages of up to 4 a month. Calls and texts may use automated technology or an AI or prerecorded voice. Consent is never a condition of buying anything from us.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop texts (END, CANCEL, QUIT and UNSUBSCRIBE work too). We’ll send one message confirming it. You can also opt out by telling us on a call or emailing [email protected].
- Reply HELP for help, or email us.
- We only call or text between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in your local time. An AI voice will say it is an AI at the start of the call, and we’ll ask before recording any call.
- Mobile carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- If you give up or change your number, tell us so we stop using it.
How we handle your number is in our Privacy Policy.
Calling and texting tools we run for you
Some of what we build calls, texts or emails your customers and leads for you, including our sales copilot. Those messages are yours. Your business is the sender and caller of record and is responsible for following the law, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act and other state rules, CAN-SPAM, and carrier rules for business texting (A2P 10DLC). In particular, you agree to:
- Only contact people who gave you the consent the law requires. For marketing calls or texts sent with automated technology or an AI or prerecorded voice, that means prior express written consent that names your business.
- Not use bought, rented or shared lists, and not share consent you collect with anyone else.
- Check the National Do Not Call Registry and state lists (including Florida’s) before sales calls and texts, and keep your own do-not-contact list.
- Honor every opt-out, however it’s given, and never later than 10 business days.
- Contact people only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in their local time, and make no more than 3 sales calls to the same person about the same thing in 24 hours.
- Name your business at the start of every call and text, say when a caller is an AI, and get consent before recording where the law requires it (Florida requires everyone on the call to agree).
- Register your business texting brand and campaign in your own business’s name, and send only what that registration describes.
We build these rules into the tools where we can, such as opt-out handling and time windows. They still depend on the data and settings you give us. We may pause any calling or texting that looks like it breaks these rules. You’re responsible for, and will cover us against, claims that come from messages sent for you or from data you gave us. We don’t give legal advice about your messaging; ask your own lawyer.
Fair use
Don’t use the service or anything we build for anything illegal, deceptive, harassing or abusive, to send spam, or to get around another service’s rules.
Payment and refunds
Prices and billing are set in your quote or order form. If we end the work early for any reason other than your breach of these terms, we refund what you prepaid for work not yet done.
Confidentiality
Your information is confidential by default. We don’t sell it, train AI models on it, or use it in marketing without your written permission. We share it only with the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and only so they can run the service for you. If you have an NDA, send it with the intake.
Liability
Software and AI can fail: bugs happen, other services go down, and AI makes mistakes. Apart from what’s promised here or in your order form, the service is provided as is. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it. These limits don’t apply where the law doesn’t allow them.
Ending the work
Either side can end ongoing work with the notice in your order form, or 30 days’ written notice if it doesn’t say. When it ends, we hand over what we built and anything you sent us, remove our access to your accounts, and delete our copies as our Privacy Policy describes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged in client engagements; for the public site, the date is your only signal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, where Answered Work LLC is organized. Any dispute that can’t be resolved between us goes to the state or federal courts in Florida.
